The mission of the Dyehard Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.

Through this mission, each individual Toastmaster gains a clear understanding of the club’s purpose, and the organization as a whole benefits from a shared set of values and goals.

The Goal of the Dyehard Toastmasters for the 2009-2010 Fiscal year is to be recognized by Toastmaster’s International as a President’s Distinguished Club.  In order to do this, we must achieve nine of the following ten goals, as set forth by Toastmaster’s International.  In addition to this, we must have a net membership gain of five members from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010.

Goal #1
Members must earn two (2) Competent Communicator (CC) Awards during the year.

Goal #2
Members must earn two (2) more Competent Communicator (CC) Awards during the year.

Goal #3
Members must earn one (1) Advanced Communicator Award (AC Bronze, AC Silver, AC Gold)

Goal #4
Members must earn one (1) more Advanced Communicator Award (AC Bronze, AC Silver, AC Gold)

Goal #5
Members must earn one (1) Competent Leader (CL), Advanced Leader Bronze (ALB), Advanced Leader Silver (ALS), or Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) Award.

Goal #6
Members must earn one (1) more Competent Leader (CL), Advanced Leader Bronze (ALB), Advanced Leader Silver (ALS), or Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) Award.

Goal #7
Add four new members.

Goal #8
Add four more new members

Goal #9
Club Officer Training: (1) Train four or more officers in June-August
AND (both required) (2) train four or more officers in December-February.

Goal #10
Submit On-time: (1) Club Officer List AND (both required)
(2) the October or April Club Semi-annual per capita report (dues).
